By booking a clean with Careful Cleaning ("we," "our," or "us"), you ("client," "you") agree to these terms. They cover what we'll do, what we expect from you, and how we handle the unexpected.
We provide residential and small commercial cleaning services in Central Kentucky, including recurring residential cleaning, deep cleans, move-in / move-out cleans, and home organization services. Services are provided on a per-visit basis or under a recurring schedule, as agreed when we put together your estimate.
Each service includes the scope of work agreed in your written quote. Anything beyond that scope — added rooms, additional tasks, deep work not in the original plan — may be billed separately, always with your approval first.
We schedule cleans in arrival windows, not exact times, and we'll always let you know if we're running late. Recurring clients get a regular day and window we hold for them; one-off and deep cleans are booked by mutual availability.
Life happens — our cancellation policy is built to be fair:
We almost never charge for first-time cancellations or genuine emergencies. Just talk to us — we'd rather find a solution than send an invoice.
Every visit ends with a final pass — together, in person when possible. If something isn't right, we fix it before we leave. Notice something within 24 hours? Let us know and we'll come back to address it at no additional charge.
Our guarantee covers the scope agreed in writing. It doesn't extend to pre-existing damage, items we were asked to avoid, or work beyond the agreed scope.
We collect only what we need to serve you well — name, contact info, service address, and notes about your home and preferences. We never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
When you submit a quote request through our app, those details are encrypted in transit and at rest, accessible only to staff who need them, and never sold or shared.
You can request a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it, anytime. Just reach out.
We sometimes take before / after photos for our records and occasionally for marketing — but only with your explicit permission, which you can limit or revoke at any time, and we respect those limits absolutely.
Quotes are written, itemized, and valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing is based on your estimate — home size, scope, frequency, and any specialty work.
Careful Cleaning is fully insured and bonded. In the rare event of accidental damage, please report it within 48 hours so we can document and address it together.
We're not liable for damage from pre-existing conditions, improperly secured items, or items we were asked not to handle. Our maximum liability for any single incident is limited to the value of services rendered or applicable insurance coverage, whichever is greater.
We carry insurance because things happen. If we break it, we own it — we just ask that you tell us promptly so we can make it right.
We want everyone to be able to use this website and reach us easily. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we review the site regularly to keep it readable, navigable, and usable with assistive technology.
If any part of this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, let us know and we'll help you directly and work to fix it.
We prefer to resolve any concern directly and quickly — most issues are sorted in a single conversation. Formal disputes are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and, where possible, resolved through mediation before litigation.
