Before service

We confirm scope in writing.

Every visit follows a written plan you can read before we arrive. Add-ons are itemized; nothing is billed without confirmation.

During service

Background-checked, trained, supervised.

The same lead cleaner each visit so accountability is unambiguous. You'll always know exactly who is in your home.

After service

A walkthrough or a written check.

No callbacks, no awkward emails the next day. Concerns raised within 24 hours are resolved at no additional cost.

Service agreement

The fine print, plain-spoken.

A working agreement that covers scope, pricing, scheduling, access, liability, and how we handle the things we hope never happen. Submitting an estimate, paying for a clean, or accepting a scheduled visit constitutes acknowledgement of these terms.

Scope of work

Careful Cleaning Services ("we," "us") will provide the cleaning services outlined in your estimate or quote. Pricing is based on the information provided about your home and the services requested. If additional services, rooms, or special requests are added, pricing may be adjusted and will be discussed with you before the cleaning appointment.

Pricing and payment

Payment methods accepted: cash, check, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

Scheduling, arrival, and cancellation

We ask that cancellations be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a $35 cancellation fee. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in the discontinuation of recurring services.

Property access and security

You do not need to be home during your cleaning. If you won't be present, we can access the home using a lockbox, garage code, spare key, or other agreed-upon entry method. Please provide any necessary access instructions prior to your appointment. We treat all access credentials as confidential and store them only as needed to fulfill recurring service. Many of our clients aren't home during their cleaning appointments. If you're away, we will ensure your home is securely locked when we leave.

Damage and breakage

We take great care of your home and belongings, treating them with the same respect we would our own. In the rare event of accidental damage, notify us within 48 hours of the service and we will work with you and our insurance carrier to resolve it fairly. To minimize risk, please point out fragile, valuable, or sentimental items at scheduling so we can flag them for the team.

Liability and insurance

Careful Cleaning Services maintains the general liability insurance and bonding listed above. Coverage extends to property damage arising from our cleaning work. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or items left in the cleaning path that were not identified ahead of time.

Privacy and confidentiality

We collect only the information needed to quote, schedule, and complete your service. We do not sell or share your data. Our full privacy statement is in the docs section of our site. Photos taken on the job are used internally for quality reference; we will never publish images of your home publicly without your written consent.

Modification and termination

Recurring cleaning services may be canceled by either party with at least seven days' notice. One-time cleaning services conclude upon completion of the scheduled visit. We value respectful, long-term relationships with our clients. In rare situations involving unsafe conditions, inappropriate behavior, or unpaid balances, we may need to decline or discontinue services. If this becomes necessary, we will communicate with you in writing.

Acceptance

By submitting an estimate request, scheduling a service, or making a payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. The most current version of these terms can always be found in the Trust Center on our website. If we make significant changes, active recurring clients will be notified in writing.
